Before you optimise.
Will Niceshot increase FPS?
Niceshot is built to improve gaming performance by tuning Windows and GPU settings and reducing unnecessary background work. How much FPS you gain depends on your hardware, the game and your starting setup. A PC with more room for improvement will benefit differently from one that’s already well tuned.
Will it reduce latency?
Niceshot targets system responsiveness and network processing delay through Windows, adapter and device settings. It can optimise how your PC handles that work; your internet connection and distance from the game server still affect online latency.
What does Niceshot optimise?
Windows performance settings, services, network adapters, network processing, GPU settings, device interrupts and affinity, bundled apps and unnecessary background overhead. It also provides useful system, anti-cheat readiness and live GPU information.
Why use Niceshot instead of doing tweaks manually?
You can tune a PC manually, but researching settings, applying them and keeping track of your changes takes time. Niceshot brings that work together with Auto Optimise, individual controls and Restore for supported changes.
Does Niceshot adapt to my hardware?
Yes. Niceshot checks your hardware and Windows configuration to determine which optimisations apply. Available controls can vary between PCs, including different graphics cards and network adapters.
Can I revert changes?
Restore lets you review and undo supported changes made during your Niceshot session, using Undo latest or Undo all. Windows recovery depends on System Protection being available. Deleted cleanup files are not restored by undoing settings.
Does it work on Windows 10 and 11?
Yes. Niceshot supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 on x64 PCs.
